After working together with Get Your Media on previous podcast projects, Josh Warrington’s sponsors, 11 Degrees, reached out to the Get Your Media team to ask us to go film with the artist, Akse P19, who created the mural, depicting the night Leeds boxer Josh Warrington became a world champion, in Leeds city centre.
"The mural is massive to me, it's like sort of a reward for all the hard work and trying to represent the city, I hope it can inspire people when they drive past it and just remind themselves that Josh Warrington was just a lad off the local council estate who went on to world title glories and beyond that. Hopefully it inspires many generations to come." The mural has been created to celebrate Warrington's new partnership with urban streetwear brand 11 Degrees Clothing.
